Our Safety & Security

Kids ‘R’ Kids has consulted with experts to create a safety and security program with the following features:

- Infant, child and adult CPR and First Aid trained staff
- Dedicated (Boo-Boo) room to address medical needs
- Strict background checks on all staff
- Secured entrances with restricted visitor access
- Closed-circuit cameras that are continuously monitored by staff
- Password-protected Internet viewing of classrooms, playgrounds and the cafeteria
- Tempered glass walls and doors for situational awareness
- Emergency and inclement weather preparedness plan

Our Dining Experience

Research shows that practicing family-style dining enhances social skills, table manners, and increases conversation techniques. Our nutritious dining program is designed with these attributes in mind, and features:

- Mealtime conversation focused on nutritional education
- Well-balanced and healthy meals prepared by onsite chef
- Protocols to protect children with food allergies
- Menus that are prepared in advance and available online
- For bottle-fed children, families must provide prepared formula or mother’s milk placed in bottles. All infant items should be marked with the child´s first and last name. We will inform you of the policy regarding baby foods

Health and Fitness Program – Childhood obesity has reached epidemic proportions as a result of the comforts of fast food and technology. We understand how important physical activity is for growing and developing infants, toddlers, and preschool children. With your child’s health and fitness in mind, Kids ‘R’ Kids Learning Academy of Charlotte has created a Health and Fitness Challenge that provides important tools for children to learn how to be healthy.

Your child will learn about family style dining, a healthy body, the food pyramid, and physical fitness. We also stress the importance of fair play, team cooperation, and physical well-being.

Foreign Language Program – Your child’s brain is designed to learn multiple languages making the early childhood years the best time to learn another language. Our Spanish Teacher, Ms. Sandra, provides a weekly lesson that supports the lead teacher’s plan. Your child will enjoy lessons that include basic conversation in Spanish, songs, rhymes, and fun games!

Music Program – Music is an incredible tool that enhances brain development and awakens your child’s inner abilities. Our music program will expose your child to a variety of musical techniques and styles. Your child will enjoy playing instruments in the Kids ‘R’ Kids Music Program while engaging in fun singing activities, playing instruments, and composing a masterpiece!

Computer Program – The use of technology and computers is extremely important for children of all ages. At Kids ‘R’ Kids Learning Academy of Charlotte, we are committed to giving children the opportunity to become comfortable using the latest technology. We provide games and electronic lessons to support the educational themes taught at Kids ‘R’ Kids. Our early preschool and Pre-K classrooms also use tablets to enhance the learning experience.
